'Canes in a 0-2 hole
wow it was the Malkin show tonight, the 'Canes decided to get in a shoot out and it didn't work out so well for them. they actually had a lead at one point, and there were a few ties, but Malkin kept scoring and the 'Canes didn't.
back to Raleigh and we'll see if Carolina can make a series of it....

If it's any consolation, we're pulling for the 'Canes here in Detroit. My mom's a transplant to NC and local (good) guy Peter Karmanos owns the team, so we have a rooting connection. Go 'Canes!
i assume you're pulling for Detroit in the West, they look like they can beat the tar out of any of the remaining teams....but i would love for Carolina to have a shot....
i think the hawks have some life in them yet!!!

my wife made octopus for dinner the other night, before game 1 of the ECF. i said "good thing we're not playing the Wings or this would be bad luck"....but then i thought, if you're EATING the octopus, maybe it gives you power over the Red Wings!

That one hurt last night. Being down 3-0 and then coming back to tie it up only to lose it in OT was tough. Should be a fun Game 4!
