Warner Bros. Brings the Joy
This is an awesome post by Tim Quirk at Rhapsody, describing a recently received royalty statement from Warner Bros. for records released by his former band, Too Much Joy. Who says accounting isn't fun!

I wrote a fan letter to Tim Quirk in 8th grade and he wrote me back. He also included a personal check for 35 cents because I paid tax on a shirt from mail order when I didn't have to. I still have the shirt and letter and still embarrass my wife by knowing every word from Cereal Killers and Son of Sam.
