Rock on the Way
as has been announced elsewhere, Superchunk is playing a couple rock concerts in the coming weeks!
on August 29th at the Cats Cradle in Carrboro, NC we're playing a benefit for our friend Cy Rawls along with the Rosebuds and the Birds of Avalon.
a couple days later we'll be all the way out west, playing at Bumbershoot on Sept 1st with Death Cab for Cutie.
the show at the Cradle is a benefit as i mentioned, to help Cy pay his medical bills and other expenses he's accrued recently, here's a blog about who Cy is and how he's doing: Cy Rawls Has A Posse
as a band we are also raising some money by accepting song requests for the Cradle show at the cost of $100 per song...request a song and for that donation we will rock it!

All that sounds amazing. I'm sure you will rock it. And it's a wonderful thing you're doing.
I'm really really excited about Superchunk playing Bumbershoot, it's going to be one of the highlights of my musical year to finally see you guys.
